ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion - BossTurbo's mild build for street/track

I plan on using this as my daily driver and taking it on the track from time to time. :cool:

My last car I tracked was a supercharged miata. It was a lot of fun, but had to sell it to buy my house. Well, four years later, it's time for a new toy! My fav car I've ever owned was a 94 RX-7 twin turbo, not sure this car can be that fun, but at least it has 4 doors. :thumbup:

Picked up this car 6 days ago - 2007 IS350 78k miles with Sport Package - one owner - a girl who got scared when I "got on it" during the test drive, so I'm guessing she didn't really drive it hard. :D

Mods done so far:
Day 1 - Escort 9500i (the GPS integration is awesome), mobile phone holder
Day 3 - Window tint. 20% all around, including windshield strip and 30% on moonroof. I've never tried the windshield strip before, but I'm 6'3" and when I put the sun visor down, it's kind of in my field of view. Hoping the tint will work as a sun visor instead.
Day 4 - Tanabe Medallion exhaust purchased and installed. Ordered F-sport intake, new windshield trim sides (mine is cracked), and redouts.
Day 6 - Blacked out all the chrome trim and badges on back. I almost went to the track today (Streets of Willow), but got lazy and decided to do some work instead, lol.
Day 7 or 8? - May drive down to iJDMtoy since I live in LA area and purchase a mass amounts of LEDs and HID fogs.

Mods in the pipe, in no particular order:
Radar detector hard wired and possible dash integration
Front lip, side skirts and rear lip (undecided)
Wald spoiler
StopTech or EBC slotted front rotors
EBC Red or Yellow (?) front pads
High grade brake fluid
F-sport sway bar front and back
LED running light strip - mounted inside headlight (not a fan of the stick on)
Dark paint on chrome inside of headlight
F-sport style honeycomb grill

Possible mods:
Invidia or Megan midpipe... will have to see how loud just the Tanabe is
2nd set of wheels with track tires (R compound?)
Braided SS brake lines
Add navigation (is the steering wheel pre-wired for the navi/bluetooth buttons?)
plasti-dip body to white
Different wheels - Love 5 stars
