What are the best mods to do if im going to use the car as a daily driver?

Maintenance. In my experience, a lot of IS300's I've come across lately (purchased 15+ years later) all tend to have similar issues/problems with AC/Heat, Suspension bushings, oil leaks, etc... I would address any/all of your issues first before adding mods on.

If your car is running good, I would look into a set of coilovers, sway bars, or anything else suspension related for a sportier feel.

Agreed. My daily driver needs to be reliable first everything else second.
