No, that emblem is actually off of one of my stock center caps from the SC300 "fanblade" style wheels. It fits perfectly on the egr block off plate.

The TH400 transmission has internal detents. So all you need to do is grind out the stock shifter detents and you will be fine. This worked well with my 68 Nova SS when I put a TH400 and used the powerglide shifter. Great build!

That makes sense I'm definitely going to look into that.


We are finishing up a car today and then we should be hitting my Lexus pretty hard getting stuff done so updates should come a little faster

Mocking up the motor looks like the th400 is gonna fit without messing with the tunnel but the alternator looks like it may be to high so might have to remake the offset plate

I don't have the engine mounts done trying to get the tranny mount finished so we can center the motor and make the mounts but here are some engine bay pics

Got hptuners in the mail and i stripped everything out of the engine bay getting it ready for paint I now have a deadline for completion I want to have it done by Nov 30th for the cupcake meet here in Oklahoma

Dropped the engine off to get vatted and 317 heads rebuilt and milled .020 to raise compression should be getting then back today!!
