Shef's 1100whp '93SC400 Rebuild / Makeover
RLZ Engineering in Concord has taken wayyyy too long and still not done porting my cylinder head! Never again will i get anything done there.
Finally, Widebody is on and fitted perfectly and car is sprayed.
Engine has been assembled and ready to go back into the car.
Going in this weekend to get the interior done and this beast should be coming back together soon! Very exciting!

So what did you guys do to fix the head lifting issue?
The fix is not to use the arp washers, Use the stock headbolt washer and that will take care of that!
It's a known issue around 9XX +14XX hp and using those bolts and washers.

Michael Currin out of Charlotte, NC. A good friend of mine, he owns and operates his own bodyshop. Does amazing work.
Well to start with, I've purchase a brand new cylinder head from Toyota. New ARP oversized headstuds and the ARP washer inserts with the arp washers. This should be a fix. I can't use the oem toyota washers with these studs and I dont think that would fix the problem I had with the first cylinder head.
Only major difference on the engine build now is the new ported cylinder head and billet main caps with arp main studs.
Thanks man I appreciate it. I would like to see your car in person.

I am hoping for more power with the RLZ cylinder head versus the King Kong Performance CNC head. Actually selling the older cylinder head if anyone is interested. I have no use for it, just a paper weight to me right now.
