Thanks they came out half decent! It's a good mod to the series 1 tails while the car is going through it's transition.

Yeah I missed out on the rear window wiper this time around, it could be a future retrofit!

So the other day I decided to tear down the EMV unit to try & find if it had similar internals to the non-EMV headunit so that I could connect & fit my AUX jack going by the walk-through on here. To my luck the 3 prongs which I was hoping to find were no where to be seen on the chipboard. Which WERE for connecting the servo plug straight into.

So there went that idea.

But after some further research an even easier method of running an iPod/MP3 player was through the TV tuners wiring which I had no idea about. Conveniently located under the rear seat, running the wires to the console was a piece of cake.

Too easy!

TV tuner wiring (Audio input L & R + 2 grounds)

After running some wires back to the console & soldering them to the panel mount jack, iPod plugged in & it all works!

I haven't yet secured the jack down until I find a better location for it in the console that will allow for it's size, temporarily it will do, I'm just grateful I no longer have to listen to the radio.

So clicking the TV button now activates the iPod audio. The sound is crystal clear & enough for me to never have to change anything audio wise & still retain the all factory look

Another mod down & off the list.

Looks good. Just picked up a DWP 95 sc400 myself. Love what you did to the rear lights, makes me want to take my 97 tails off and paint my 95 tails. Do you have any pics of the front?

I'll be sure to adjust the height rods this week & post a pic when she's sitting at a more eye friendly level!

Congrats on the new purchase, look forward to checking it out! The rear lights turned out better than I imagined, I would definitely recommend it if you ever decide on another set of lights. Unfortunately for mine they won't be on for much longer!

Here is a pic that I took today of the front end after sourcing & fitting the Griffin badge.

Still haven't fitted the front lip yet, definitely this week.

Scored a set of 94-96 tail lights last night for $100! Loom included & lens in unmarked condition. Hyperblink to be fixed tomorrow.

Currently adjusting the height rods to get her sitting reasonable:

Also went on a small hill run last night with a few mates:

Those are actually Supra NA Wheels,
Supra NAs are 16x8 and 16x9
Supra TT Wheels are 17x8 and 17x9 1/2

16 x 8 225/50/16 front & 16 x 9 245/45/16 rear

Though tyres will need replacing, so maybe 235 front & 255 rear.

These are the Series 1 TT wheels.

The Series 1 NA ran 16x8 front and rear (ran these as spares on the last Soarer)

Not sure who told you that or read that from but got a reference/link? 1st time ever hearing there are 2 types of TT wheels and NA wheels.

From my understanding all the NA wheels were 16x8 and 16x9 and the TT wheels are different then the ones here and are 17x8 and 17x9 1/2

That's from a few people I know that have owned Import Supra's (TT & NA) with the factory wheels.

The first set I bought were all 16x8, from a guy with an NA & this current set was from someone who used to own a TT.

Good enough for spares anyway!

But if you read the first link:

Fronts: Pre '95 - 16x8 Post '95 - 17x8

Rears: Pre '95 - 16x9 Post 95 - 17x9.5

Regarding the NA's, every example I've seen has been 16x8 all around here in AUS, whether on the car or for sale ads.

So whatever is going on there I have no idea.
Only for Japan tho, All other Exports get the 17x8 and 17x9.5 For TT wheels
Very interesting just trying to get the facts straight and for whoever else sees this i guess, but yeah nice wheels esp for spares
