Ok so I took the plenum off and it's #1 Injector that is stuck. All the fuel that is ending up in cylinder #2 is from over flowing inside the intakes plenum and making its way through #2 runner. I can even blow through injector number #1 which tells me it's obviously stuck open.

So I replaced that injector with an oem one to see if its the ems that is causing it to open at key on. Sure enough it did not and no more fuel is passing through at key on.

So that answers that part of it... I think! Now so what was all that smoke about?! Turbo blew seals again?!? I did notice a small puddle of oil underneath the dump tube of the waste gate and a little oil in the tb?

Also installed the AEM water temp sensor on the upper water neck while I was there with the intake plunem off. There is a perfect spot to dril and tap a hole on the water neck. If you look at it, there is an area of where the casting hole was which makes a perfect spot to drill and tap.

you didn't catch my post above?

Smoke? Did you do a lot of cranking with the cylinder full of fuel? I hope you didn't wash the cylinder with fuel and damage the walls. Might be blowing oil past the rings now.

I did catch your post and I was narrowing it down to how many injectors got stuck... best to know before proceeding to start the car.

The smoke was when this all happened if you didn’t see my original post about what happen. I haven’t started the car or have even attempted too with these bad injectors. Sense I got part 1 of the two problems I have taken care of, now I’m trying to figure out why all the smoke from the beginning.

It’s either the turbo or like you said a piston ring got damaged and oil is able to pass through into the cylinder. I still haven’t done a compression test nor taken the turbo off so hopefully ones that is done I should know more. But I’m thinking most likely it’s the turbo because there was oil in the wastegate dump tube and a little in the throttle body.

Alright compression test results

Cylinders 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 or above 200psi
Cylinder 2 is barely at 120psi

I'm guessing 2 is bad?!?

did you do the compression test wet or dry? did you put some oil in the cylinder?

well normally the cylinder has oil on the piston rings to help sealing, and since you are testing the leaking past the rings it may help stabilize the numbers alot more if you had some variation in the numbers, especially since that cylinder had a bunch of fuel in it recently but I assume cylinder 1 did too. If oil doesn't bring the number up it has an issue, if oil brings it up close to the rest you are sill ok.

Did the wet test on #1 and #2 with adding a little less than a cap full of oil, let it sit for a few minutes, cranked it slowly for the oil to set than did another test. It did bring it back up to 210psi.

Next step ill take is put in the FIC 1100 injectors, change the oil and see what happens. Hope everything is still good!!

Great! Sounds like it was just dry from all the gasoline.

Glad to hear it increased the number matching close to the others. Keep us posted.

So over the weekend I was able to get everything together along with the fic 1100s installed. I did an oil flush with cheap oil to was away most of the fuel than replaced with some mobile1.

After messing with the settings in AEM to get the FICs injectors to work, broda805 and I where only able to get it to fire for a second than dies out. The motor sounded ok for that second it tried to run but we couldn't really tell sense it didn't stay running long enough. Still cant figure out how to get the settings right in the AEM to get the car at least to idle to see if there is any rod knock.

I am starting to consider on doing the email tune by MVP to at least get me to the tuner in long beach (2+hrs away) if I cant figure this out. Any thoughts?!?

Are you COP?

It's really not hard to get the car to fire up on aem, what battery are you running? if it's an optima throw it in the trash..
