Looks good dude! I used to live on the island with my Last Celsior, cool beans.
Also had a look at the 2.5 v6 you jammed in the Focus, looks almost factory in there, was the Zetec 2.0 and the 2.5 using the same tranny and stuff? I imagine some similar lineage if you got it all too work, pretty cool )

Thanks.
We dropped an complete 2.5 with trans in. The later contours and focus both use the same transmission, with the exception of the bellhousing and final drive. A little mix and match of the axels and mounts but a buttload of minor but many custom mods, including basically building an entirely new wire harness, were needed to get it to work.
The car is in Calgary now with a buddy of mine. If you get out to any of the import/domestic shows around there, you can probably take a look. I think he has kept it pretty much exactly as I sold it to him, the car is a bit of an icon in the focus community, and he likes to keep things familiar.

Just got a set of UAS aero sport bags with billet 2GS top mounts.
Also ordered a MB Quart RA1000.1 sub amp and install stuff, just waiting on John at AE to get back to me on which sub to buy.
Searching high and low for the bits needed to finish out the air system with an E-Level and such...

The Billet mounts came with the bags; got them together for little more than just the bags new, and they both only have <500miles on them. they do allow you to go lower according the the guys at UAS, and keep the bag from rotating and floating on the lower perch.
I just want to go E-level for simplicity and accuracy of the height adjustment.
My friends that were manual and switched to E-Level said they would never go back. Oddly i have a group of friends who all have B& Audi A4 Avants each with a different system; one on E-level, one on an Autopilot V2 and the other one the first guys old manual system. having ridden in all of them, the E-level is definitely the most comfortable and easiest to use, although he V2 is not that far behind. Manual system was not nearly as nice of a ride. it wasn't bad, but I want it as smooth as possible.
As far as the rest of the components go, I'm all ears but my current plan is:
2x Air Zenith Compressors
2x Specialty suspensions 24" spun tanks (6gal) or 4x of the 18" versions (8gal)
E-level with NPT ports
In trunk will be fitted with -6 AN Kevlar braided hose and Nickel fittings, under car will be standard plastic ¼" hose and PTC fittings with -6 SS leader hose and fittings to the bags.
The AZ compressors are one of the areas I'm now not 100% on anymore, one AZ pretty much replaces dual ViAir 480C compressors in fill time (according to posted specs at least), but the additional cost of running the dual AZ's is a big pill to swallow... Not to mention running dual AZ's is 80amps vs 40amps for the dual 480c. My 320amp alternator won't care, but that is a lot of draw.
I'm getting conflicting info on the AZ's from some places, some people say they are loud and Violent when running wheel others say they are quieter than the 480s... Some say they are not reliable while others say they are way better than ViAir.
Not sure what would be better....

- I think a single AZ is softer than dual 480s, but dual AZs are definitely loud. Nothing a little sound dampner and rubber mounts can't fix.
- AZs used to be unreliable. The OB1 was notorious for its unreliability, but AZ got their stuff together with the OB2 (see this review). An added bonus is that they're rebuildable (even though most Viairs are, as well).

YES! excited to see what it all come together. i completely understand about running elevel. if i had the cash i would too! it's much easier to use overall, but the install is the hardest among them. get pics of how you mount the height sensors.
i considered autopilot v2 but am not confident in pressure based systems after playing with airrex. check out this video.
