Default Obsidian IS-F pics- simple mods, 90% done.

Well, I'm just about done with modding the car. At this point, I've decided to basically leave it stock as far as bolt-ons go and only change a couple of things cosmetically. This isn't an extensive build by any stretch of the imagination, but I think I've done a few things to make it look different than the way it was when I rolled out of the dealership.

-Volk SF-Winnings 19x8.5 & 19x9.5
-Lexon "style" front lip, wrapped in 3M vinyl
-50% 3M tint all around
-3M clear bra

The only mods that I may do are lowering it in the front just a touch either with springs or coilovers, going with a slightly wider tire, changing out the brake pads for something with a little lower dust, and maaaaaybe removing the resonator from the stock exhaust system. Thoughts and opinions are welcome.

SHe's pretty, props! If you go with coils then the ride will def be a smoother one. About the exhaust I'd prob just clip the 2 rear cats or mufflers(or both) but not the resonator. Deleting that is gonna make it raspy

Looks good man! Thread title shouldn't be "build" though. Nothing built about it...

I have to also say I was never a fan of the SF Winning wheels...but they look so proper on your car. I think you said in a previous thread the fitment is a bit more aggressive than you like but i think it goes well!

Are the wheels chrome or is it like a gun metal black chrome?

Clean looking ride! Was there any drilling needed or is it held with just tape?

Yeah, the wheel offset was about 10mm more aggressive than I initially intended, but with a slight fender roll in the rears everything fits fine with no rubbing. The centers are Mercury Silver (kinda like Volk's version of black chrome) and the lips are polished.

Four bolt/screws... two are already on the car at each corner so I reused those locations and two I had to drill closer to the center. I also put some 3M doublesided tape under there just to be sure.

No, that is stock ride height. I don't need or want to drop the rear, but I wouldn't mind an inch less gap in the front. I may get springs or coilovers eventually, but no rush right now. On the tint, 35% is legal on the rear windshield and rear side windows, but I wanted an even look all the way around do I just stuck with 50%. With the black interior it looks a lot darker without the direct sunlight.

Thanks for the comments/compliments all!
