Back from the dead Bishes!!! Alright, not a whole lot has changed to be honest... in fact I think the car was better of 5 years ago. BUUTTT... I am determined to make SOMETHING out of this car since it's the OG and my baby. For now, lets just say the only certain things about what direction I'm going with this car is that I really have no real idea except I want to keep the 1uz (I know I know, I'm crazy... and it's a waste of money, that's what my new project is for) and that in the end this car will have 3 pedals and a shifter you can row gears with. :driving:

So what's changed you ask?
1st: the interior recently got trashed because of a clogged rain water vent in the sunroof, so I ripped it out and will be swapping in black interior shortly
2nd: I got some baller Volk GT-U wheels for it with some nice hankook R-S3 sticky tires :D
3rd: it's got bucket seats now (993 RS style, they're super comfy)
4th: bigger brakes, gone are the ls400 fronts, in are an old school AP Racing 4 pot kit and supra turbo rears.

Coming soon to this Sc400: a black interior, a non airbag super extra jdm supra steering wheel, even bigger brakes (when I can afford to order the rest of the parts) red/clear tail light mod, and hopefully by the end of the year some extra special secret sauce custom headlights (because mine are roached)

Short term to do list on the car: fix the alternator, do some much needed maintenance, replace the windshield that was demolished by a branch, and actually drive the poor thing.

I will do my best to keep the updates rolling and to actually get this car back to what it truly deserves and not the sad state it's in right now, and eventually this thing will be a proper show stopper........ Eventually

Nice pic, is it a 400?

maynanator 09-12-12 08:11 PM

yes it is.

i almost forgot, details on the car: 1992 sc400, 8j5 blue, custom exhaust, tein ss coilovers (never buy unless you want a back breaking ride), ls400 front brake swap. soon to come... new headers, mid-pipe, cams, and custom cold air intake.

What's your plans? Manual 400, or 1j/2j swap?

maynanator 09-12-12 08:39 PM

manual, thanks for reminding me about that. though that'll have to wait. the parts are still in houston even though i now reside in fayetteville, Ar

That's going to be a nice setup. A manual V8. Gotta be sweet. Welcome.

Yeah, that is a beautiful color from the original line up, and those wheels-ole school classics. I've always loved those wheels. I first saw them on a Green 92 back in the late 90s, I've been hooked on them every since!
