Updates On Last Pages!
Hey guys, been lurking this forum for many years gathering info into the exact sc I wanted. Always wanted to get a 5spd but everything I found around here was just trash, salvaged, beaten up, etc. Decided that since I always planned to go 97+ or AC kit that I would just save money and get a 97+. Searched around craigslist for about a year and finally found a black 98 sc300 for a great price, 174xxx miles, clean title, etc. I have owned this car for about a little over 2 months and have great plans for it, just don't have the money yet haha. In the far future I either plan to do a full gte swap or just slap a r154 on my car right now.
When I first got it:
Paint was in okay condition needed alot of work on hood, trunk and top, maybe sat under a tree for a long time. Interior was very clean though.
Right away I ordered BC extreme low's which took a month to come in, and did basic stuff such as maintenance, tint, buffed out paint and just drove it stock for a while. Along the wait for coils picked up some random goodies such as exhaust, 350z wheels for dirty cheap,hic rear visor
Along with this did 2.25in piping from Ypipe to axle
Coils finally came in and slapped them on the night of haha
Also delt with this -.- for anyone that has not relocated their harness please do so, it will prevent so many headaches haha if you cant put it in the engine bay tuck it high up as possible you may need to remove some brackets but it will be safe in their as well.
Then one day i notice while driving that my radio just shut off and that my lights were flickering and was losing power, pulled off to side and couldnt turn car back on. I just assumed it was dead battery but turns out alternator went bad.
Died on the street 3 days in a row. Turns out battery was also bad and replaced it with a optima red top, which ended up being defective and had to get another one the next day. it was a stressful week. Also while changing out alternator, broke tension bolt, had to drill it out and get another one. When finally putting everything back together car still died out and I was just dead confused. I checked everything rechecked wiring and saw that my alternator somehow wasnt being turned on and my car was running on straight battery power. Turns out there 5 fuses that run the alternator and my 7.5 ENGINE fuse blew.
Car is all good now, have my 350z anniversary wheels on and will stay this way till i can afford some baller wheels

Yeah I got them for dirt cheap and just went for it, turned out to be nicer than I thought haha.
Thanks bro! Yeah I have been looking into spacers, my friend has spare 20 and 30mm's so ill put them on and see how you guys like it haha
