Nice work man. Definitely a good thing you made a cover for the tunnel. The R154 is very loud compared to an auto (which is silent from what I remember).

Great read. Are you looking to get rid of the gated shifter and linkage when you get the r154 installed? if so, let me know.

Very nice.

Stage one sounds almost exactly how my car started out. I remember years ago, I was one of the first to do an R154 swap on an NA car and people thought I was crazy and kept asking why did you go R154 and not W58 since the car was still on the stock GE. Now it seems like R154 is the norm since people realize swapping in a W58 is a waste of time if you plan on going the turbo route.

You're gonna like the R154 and 3.76 combo, it's alot of fun, even without a turbo it's so much nicer than the slow shifting auto. And those TT wheels + LS4 brakes are also going to put a big smile on your face when you see how much better the car handles and stops over stock.

Good luck!

I need coilovers but that's going to have to wait awhile. Thanks. I hope it's going to be enjoyable.

Brakes lines are here. Just got to install them. Give a car a good wash and it will be time to play with this new toy. So excited.

Stainless steel brakes are in. Need to bleed them. Then off for a test drive with auto tt, r154 and better brakes.

So yesterday I finish my car put my car back on the ground. Started it up and I couldn't disengage the clutch to put it into gear. So I put the car back on jacks took off the inspection cover and the slave cylinder rod could be pushed back with my hand and the pedal was really light. The slave cylinder rod moves with the pedal too but not enough force to move the hub. After some research this morning I believe that it cause I didn't bench bleed the new used clutch master. Has anyone else had this problem?

I did it about 10 times. Just think I need to bleed the clutch master cylinder first by itself then the slave.

Adjust the rod for the clutch master? Do you make the rod shorter and longer and what does that do to the slave cylinder. The rod in my slave cylinder moves but it's not enough to pull the hub back to disengage the clutch. I didn't bench bleed it when I installed the clutch master. The clutch pedal is feather soft.

I hate bleeding them damn things they are so sensitive and its easy to ruin new ones when you don't do everything properly
