due to being super low with the 006's and no spacers a while back my kit was pretty banged up. so i decided to try my hand at some fiberglass work, i scraped a hole on my front bumper on both sides, broke both side skirts and decided to go against the grain and go single exit exhaust. oh got a deal on soarer badges F/R. decided to take my wing off(getting a wingless one in a few days) ditched my acrylic rear visor in favor or a megan one. got some 97 tails, painted the inner edges black.

Nice build thread, how much was the driveshaft to diff adapter and where did you get that?
Because i was thinking of using the r154 mated with the sc300, but since my r154 is stuck in the trunk i have yet to do any measurements to see if this combo will even work

Lookin good dude...hows the drive with the r154? Had all my stuff for 2 years but no garage to do it.

poorsupra 07-09-12 02:20 PM

well sorting out a v ibration issue, but thats 60mph+ soo much fun though!

@charley- i had a local machine shop guy whip me one up, cost 80$ including materials. and my driveshaft was 220$.

xxtoobsxx 07-09-12 02:33 PM

What drive shaft you using. Is everything balanced?

charley240 07-09-12 02:50 PM

It looks to be a complete r154 DS? My r154 is ready to go in now too, but installed headers and need to make a gasket for the header to cats, then the r154 is ready to go in. It should be fun.
Btw, did i mention that i like this build thread?
Keep it up

i had the shop use the r154 yolk, and rear flange, new 1pc steel shaft. the adapter has a centering issue on the diff flange, slight redesign on the adapter and itll be centered on the centering dowel on the diff flange, and the 3 bolts will just hold it tight in place. should solve the issue.

thanks man! been a long time creeper, im at a point where i like my car, so i decided to post her up!

SoaringSC 07-09-12 03:31 PM

Wow. What a humble beginning! Are you planning on heat shielding the Injen intake?

1JZPWRD 07-09-12 04:58 PM

Man, not a bad way to start out the SC in a few years time frame. The R154 mod is getting so popular now in these cars. So bye bye to the W58.. Just think in the next few years, the R154 will be gone and everyone will be using the V160's...

MXT4life 07-09-12 05:54 PM

Love your build man! Are your lowbeam and high beam housings painted black? Or are they just smoked?

poorsupra 07-09-12 06:01 PM

high beams are smoked with vinyl, lows the housings are black, had sealing issues with them so i figured hey, why not? lol

and as of now i have no plans to shield the intake, sooner or later im going single turbo. its not my daily driver anyway. i mob an 87 honda hatch daily. haha

poorsupra 07-10-12 03:37 PM

just took my vibration FREE whip around the block. :driving: no pics on the final solution. ;)

going to mount my passenger bucket seat tonight and go on a long deserved drive, with no where to go.

95TEALSC3 07-15-12 03:09 PM
