My car didnt have an alternator when I got the motor. LOL, SO I had to spend money off the gate to get one.

As for clearing the exhaust w/ the wide wheels. It doesnt touch at all. In the pic it looks it but its a couple inches off the exhaust. I have quite large mufflers as well so with stockers it would have even more clearance

This should also help people here understand that our cars can fit CRAZY SH!!T for wheels under these fenders. Gotta stop being scared and go BIG
Those wheels are actually 20x11. The width is measured from inside the beads, not the outside. If you measure from the outside, you subtract an inch.

Those are 20x12 wheels. I know what your saying but the pics are Sh!!tty. They were actually stamped 20x12 of the rear of the wheel. Just hard to hold a tape measure and take a picture holding up the wheel at the same time. Also those are 305's on a 12 Not a big tire for that size wheel, And the tape is at the end of the tires tread.

Look at the stretch on the tire on the other pics... The outside of the tape is caught on the edge of the tread, not on the edge of the wheel. And just for future notes wheel width is measure both ways. You have an actual rim width which is inside shoulder to inside shoulder, and you have an overall width which is outside to outside measurement. Steel wheels and aluminum wheels have very different outside shoulder widths, some are thinner, some thicker so subtracting an even inch doesn't always work

OK just to squash the subtract an inch to give you the wheel size here it is in pics...

Wheels are different people. Just cause you read it somewhere doesn't make it right. here are pics showing this. As of this post please drop the wheel issue.

This is an 8inch wide wheel from a BMW. Aluminum wheel. Inner measurement is exactly 8 inches. Overall measurement is 8 and 5/8 inches which means if you subtracted 1 inch you would have a wheel that was 7 and 5/8 inches wide which its not... As said before, two ways to measure a wheel, and subtracting 1 inch doesn't make it right.

Pics below:

New pics up of the latest work finished. Just got the driver side wiring harness extended tonight. Been working little by little on the car since we have been Very busy here at the shop. Tons of work coming in before Import Alliance so we have been working late nights leaving me almost no time to work on my own project. However got it finished up tonight and here are a few pics of what I ended up with.

Excellent build. Looking forward to seeing the finished rig.

I'd say those are 20x11s. There aren't many 20x12 cast wheels out there - and, as others have said, you don't include the inner and outer beads in the measurement.

Also, I made some 20x11s for my brother's 1GS and I can say that I could barely install them with the suspension at full droop - they nearly touch the inner fender. The only way to fit 20x12s on the rear of the 1GS is to have them stick out past the fender 1"
