I know there is an Aussie company who started making billet 2jz cylinder heads and blocks but should be very pricey.

With the right setup , the cast 2jz block had been proven to hold over +1500rwhp even without any block fill. It is all about doing it right and how all the individual components are merged / utilized so you have an efficient setup.

Very few early 1990s blocks can handle the power the 2jz block / engine can handle which just shows how good it is.

You know there is a crazy deal on a 1992 SC300 5speed original on our local craigs now for $1200 . I was supposed to pick it up tomorrow as per my agreement with the seller but decided to pass on it . You guys should grab it.

lmaol .... I would trade you the first two cars in your signature for that V160 getrag 6speed. I will get the MR2 shipped to my place South GA and the IS300 .. will get it shipped to my daughter in TX...

V160s now a days are going no where but up. You will still find them on ebay for $5500 but not knowing their condition , you can end up with a very expensive paper weight . Titan Motorsports and a dealership in Boca Raton FL still has a brand new unit for 8800. Tough to find these discontinued brand new units. I can sell you my brand new unit for $8500 .. hahahahaha

Now you are experiencing the demands and pressures of owning a Supra MKIV ... . Soon you will have over $30k on that car and you are still on stock power / drive train.

I really want to try the SPA cast manifold on my 3.4 VVTi 10:1 engine with a fully built head . Coupled with a SP quick spool valve on the PT-6870, this setup should give me crazy spool and torque down low where we are most of the time driving our cars. I want to see a performance comparison between the SPA cast manifold and a Tubular Manifold on this setup. FSR Motorsports made over +1000rwhp on this turbo and manifold. Adding a Quick Spool Valve should help me get better spool too even if we know that the cast manifold alone helps already on the spool.

Received the SPA manifold with a 44mm wastegate flange and ported .

comparison of SPA and Treadstone Cast Manifold. The SPA clear has an advantage ...

The treadstone manifold will be more restrictive due to smaller volume on the runners. The SPA manifold should help me get a real crazy spooling +1000rwhp street fighter with the 3.4 vvti and PT-6870. Today , I don't know what's wrong with me (I hate my laptop being around me , lol) ...as a friend on this forum know, I just ordered two 2jzgte VVTi engine swaps from Sam of J-SPec Auto (JSAMotors). I guess it was because the compression numbers of the engines on the video that they sent me were just too good to resist . Having spare 2jzgte swaps will help me in the future since I have 8 cars with 2jzgte and these engines prices are steadily climbing up. Also, I want to eventually convert my 2 stroker MKIVs into VVTi heads to give me more torque down low.

^^ lol, that is why I hate looking at 2jzgte stuff for sale ads ... coupled with the fact that the guys from JSAMotors where so nice. Their customer service was top notch. No guess work on the engine you are getting due to the video they send you. Now I requested them to let me know when they get hold of some 6speed trannies. These V160s are getting harder to find and pricier.

Pare , didn't you get a brand new unit ? Now those left over brand new units in some shops are being sold for more than $8500 just for the unit without even the accessories like shifter, tripod and others..

Pare - Yes, glad I got mine when I did. I knew I wouldn't be happy with a R154 for long so figured why not just do it once...

bye W58.. did not know that the going rate for V160s is $8500+.....yikes..

Damn , that was a quick 2 days shipping and engine swaps well packed by J-Spec Auto . Got them today and they will have a loyal customer here. They were simply phenomenal from quote to after sales.

Now I have 3 extra 2JZ short blocks and 3 complete 2jzgte VVTi swaps ... . I do not have to worry about breaking an engine .
