I didn't know the 11 f-sport front would fit an older IS.

Is it a direct fit or did you have to get extra parts?

sorry gents, I have been busy working all week.

Updates are this...the car is currently at the shop

I am currently waiting for some painted engine covers that I purchased from Brocious to arrive, and that will be pretty much the finishing touches (until I spring for the flyaudio nav system) All in all the majority should be completed within the next few days. However I have to fly home for a few day so it may not be until Friday until I get pictures.

Bare with me, if I can, I will sneak out and get some shots of it before I fly out if possible

p.s. spending money on your car in such a manner can get you in the doghouse

just sayin

Just a quick update.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!!

I get off at 3 and will hopefully be posting some pictures within the hour. Only hickup I am facing is I am waiting for the lugnuts to come in for the Genesis Track wheels....Not to mention it will not have center caps (holy crap, trying to find caps that work with these wheels are ridiculous)

So I may not have wheels on, for a few more weeks (I worked two doubles coming up and then I will be out of town for training for another week and a half.

Either way....the time is coming

Well...the car still isn't complete yet. Went to the shop and they told me the hang up. That new front end isn't plug and play lol. So they didn't feel comfortable with giving it back until the car was 100% fit. They have been an awesome shop so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It just sucks because I was counting down the hours at work. Not to mention i have to go train out of state and I wanted to tear up some back roads on my way there. I have to enjoy driving the beater

So you all have about a week and a half wait until I'm back intown and ready to get her

Decided to come home from work early so I could start packing, and I walk upstairs to a welcoming death stare from the wife

and she follows up with "another big box! what did you buy this time?!"

To be honest, I had no clue what in the world she was talking about. I have my lugnuts in route, but it wouldnt be in a big box. Confused, I walked into the guest bedroom to see a box with the sender as Brocious....

as a few second pass....it hits me, and I yell out WINNING!!!

My painted engine covers came in!!!

no clue. I saw them for sale in the member for sale section.

However I may be having my own engine cover painted to match my car, and this one that is F-Sport themed
