If you think about it, the little things play just as big a part as all the "big" things you do to your car.
Sure, sweet wheels and a kit make a huge improvement and are always first to be noticed, but it's when you look around the whole car and notice the small details that you really start appreciating the work, effort, and thought processes that went into achieving the final product.
I am also currently working on my 97 tails to get rid of the ugly chrome ring that I have never liked. Instead I'm painting that outside edge gloss black. I should have these finished later tonight. Some progress
nice. the passenger taillight is really annoying to take apart

I agree 100% with you sir. All the little details make the big difference.

Same concept as doing headlights. Lots of patience, not too much heat, don't force anything or warp the lights ect.

Yes the passenger light took about twice as long because of that damn key hole area lol. But was able to get it without cracking anything.
Painting the chrome ring to black is an awesome touch. I've seen it a few times in the past and it really looks nice. It's just the fear that stops me from this mod. Someday I'll take some anxiety meds and pop these in the oven lol.

Yea especially with your car being black. I would suggest you just get an extra set of 97s someday so you can take your time with it. Mine have been off over 2 days already just to make sure everything is right. And gave the paint a full day to cure before sealing the lights back up.
