it is simple to me hehe! shift **** i got from a store called super autobacs which closed down years ago. it used to be a kmart style shopping experience for aftermarket goods mainly japanese market stuff, and never really took off here in the states. it is still big in japan. **** is made by razo carmate under luxis, and no extensions were used in my setup.
Ah yes, the lame attempt at a "super" Autobacs in Stanton. After relocating back to the states (from Japan) in 2007 I was excited to learn that there was an AB here in CA. I remember going there about a year or so before they finally closed and seeing empty shelves and very few original products from Japan. I thought it was garbage. The economy tanking around that time probably didn't help either. Wish they did online sales from Japan.

I come here whenever someone bumps your thread up and look back at the page prior at the guy who randomly posted his car in your thread. I crack up every damn time....sorry but it's funny.

Hiro I also wish they sold or had more stuff readily available for us to purchase without the 3-6 week waiting period.

haha true, if a mod is reading this, please remove that random post! honest mistake i'm sure.

there are 3rd party middlemen who can bid for you on yahoo auctions japan, for any part you desire on there, and ship them to you fairly quickly! i just don't want to start or i won't have enough gas money to even drive the car with all the fancy parts i could get.

Yeah man, I know there are the third party middlemen, I have talked to a few of them. I have a couple buddies over there also that might be able to send stuff my way, but like I said I am not a fan of the wait, lol. If I see it, and I like it I'll wait a day or a week but not 3-6 weeks....

looking back this year, 2017 is proving to be one for the books. due to an upcoming wedding and the sale of my house, I needed to downsize and decided to sell my beloved LS400.
for sale thread here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...400-ucf20.html

there were lots of offers however everyone was not interested in the air suspension. after much debate I removed the air suspension (also for sale).
I added new bridgestone tires and had a full alignment done so she tracks laser straight!
by that time wedding planning was in full swing so I was unable to put the car back on the market.

Now happily married, I still want to sell the car however we are now in the holiday season so car buying is on everyone's low priority list.
For now I am simply enjoying the car for what the factory meant it to be, plush and comfortable!

2015 on air suspension

2017 back to factory suspension

Congratulations on getting married! Honestly, if it wasn't for this build thread, I'd have never guessed the car had been lowered haha. Glws!

with somber feelings i sold the car this afternoon. i will certainly still be around as i have other lexus vehicles, but nothing was as bulletproof as my LS400.
when life slows down i see myself getting another one of the 99-00 variety.
