Thanks! How much boost was it making. Did you have 3 inch all the way back? Where did you put the restrictor?

I plugged in the ge tps to make sure my diag was correct. It spun the opposite way though. I think it would have sat upside down or connector pointing up on the throttle body.

Thanks!
We ran 3" all the way back to 3" duals with magnaflow mufflers. The two flanges that you see in the picture right infront of the resinators are were we put the restrictor. We basically took another flange and welded a piece inside it to "restrict" the flow. Worked perfectly. We now boost to 14psi with no boost controller. Before the restrictor plates were installed we were hitting 17~18psi then boost cut.

I don't think one style is better over another. It's more of personal preference! Both setups can look and sound amazing on an SC.

Cool, any pictures of the restrictor not installed?

I wanted to go single but I didn't like the exhaust cutout on the other side. Looked like something was missing.

i kept mine dual. just liked the look better than single.
if you do plan on going single. at the very least. mold the opening that you arne't going to use closed.

on my car. i have 3 inch downpipe, then it splits at the Y pipe into two 2.5 inch pipes which lead to my mufflers.
which are the megan racing axle back mufflers.

Nahh, it's smaller then that. It's a 1.2 bar Restrictor Ring.

Got it running today on a base map. Still have to put my fuel pump in and do the tach mod. And either my PS pump is bad or the resevoir is messed up. But I should have all of that straightened out next week. Then Ill be taking it to get tuned!!!
