Yes indeed. We need to have an SC meet in the GA and AL area soon. Now that we have a few more recently out of the shop and driveable again. This 70 degree weather is just crazy for the first week in December.

Small update...

After installing a Clarion touchscreen, I killed the refurbished battery provided by Zen...so I bought another one. And of course when you resolve one problem...you run into another one.

Snapped off three studs off the front left tire. Luckily thanks to some close friends, 24 hours later new studs...and new lug nuts after realizing I got the car back with some lugs not on the car.

Live and learn.

Definitely need a new suspension setup. The old one is shot and after sinking all of budget on this motor, somethings have to wait.

But waiting for tax time to see what Uncle Sam decides to give me back of own my own money so I can invest into a set of coilovers and a set of Bride Cugas for the interior. Until then there are small projects to tackle such as painting the interior pieces, replacing the stock speakers and for the love of God, window tint.

 

mr werke. never go to a shop for a swap you can do yourself NEVER!!!! if i had your coin my sc would kick ***. but me being a broke ***** has made me a wiser penny pincher..

the only thing i sent out was the harness(cause wiring sucks).glad you have your car back, but ive been raped by shops before so ive been there. not sure if you have time to do things on your own. but that piece of mind helps you sleep at night..

yes you need some tint, the fishbowl complex sucks after a while. but still looking good.!!!

Knowing what I know now, yes it would've been a different story. Yet with limited mechanical experience and whatnot it was a project I wasn't ready to tackle myself in the instance that something went wrong. But with the motor taken care of I'm more equipped to take care of problems and upgrades that's in my wheelhouse of automotive expertise.

Granted I know what to do and what not to do but I'm definitely wiser in the process. And yes...tint is coming soon. Christmas gift from the wifey.
