Fidel Cashflo's 1996 LS400 drift car build

just wondering if you considered running a single turbo.
you could use an upgrated ct.26 to a .50 trim.
on a mild built 3sgte, spool up is around 1700 rpm's........full boost is about 4k. the ct26/ .50 has a limited boost. not very efficient above 15psi. actually its not efficient at all above 15psi. the housing is too restrictive. but you plan on only 10 psi.
something like that, with water/meth injection and/or an intercooler sprayer would help gain a few more ponies without being overboard.
was just a thought.
you can completely ignore my post without hurting my feelers.
keep up the great work though.....hope its all done and over with soon...im excited to see this beast run.

good luck finding a manifold for the ct26 to bolt to the 1jz(yes i know some 1j's came single with ct26's, but i have yet to ever see one, or even pics of one. they are rare). also, a stock ct26 is only good to ~15psi. ive run the 57 trim ct26 on my 7mgte to ~25psi before. currently the wastegate actualtor spring will only hold 18psi as its just old and worn out. and for the price of a properly upgraded ct26, he can buy a decent single that will bolt to one of the cheap redily available manifolds that are out there.

As I said in the last post, I sandblasted all the parts, I really couldn’t afford to powdercoat EVERYTHING, I did use some really nice high heat engine enamel. It’s surprisingly sturdy.
After everything got coated! My good buddy Marcus at Sharp Customs let me use his sandblaster for all these parts, and also did my powdercoating, everything else was sprayed.
I stripped my 1JZ valve covers and got some high heat VHT wrinkle black enamel.
Got a whole bunch of rad **** from Driftmotion, like these super sweet valve cover grommets and new washers and bolts.

Bay is done and painted, looking really good. Wish I would’ve cleared it but who gives a ****. It’s a drift car. Took everything out of the bay to paint it: Chassis Harness/booster/ac lines/fuse box/fuel lines, all brake lines/abs bs.
Got this stuff too. Home-made downpipe coming soon. 409 stainless piping and flange.
My CNC clutch pedal arrived. It’s pretty sweet.
Took it to Amazon Hose Supply co. Had a slave line made and some line to connect to my sweet awesome junkyard remote reservoir.
Lighting wasn’t good so the pic didn’t come out great but you get the idea. I’ll definitely get some more soon when I get a chance, been real busy.
I got my bumper support out to fit my enormous intercooler. It doesn’t look like it but I spent quite a few hours to cut it out since it has 4 pieces of aluminum running through it… Whatever it came out proper so I guess its worth it.
This motor is super clean, its crazy!
This really isn’t what normal people do, right? I mean my room is filled with a **** load of stuff for my swap that I’ve yet to install.

Glad to see some progress! How far out do you think you are before the car is back together and running? I've been sliding my LS a little bit lately because its been raining in WA on and off for the past few days. Feels so smooth! aahaha
