Smile guess i should start my build thread- blacksc4

the weather is finally coming around to be good (atleast for a couple days, ohio weather sucks) which means i can start fixing up my car
bought it totally trashed
1992 lexus sc400 136k miles
if you have any suggestions feel free to give them

what i have done:
pads and rotors all around
new plugs and wires
new tps
timing belt
soarer 2.5 struts and springs
new rear subframe
sea-foamed it all
BFI
Brake master cylinder
delined and painted headlights
HIDs (6k frm ddm)
slightly fixed interior (tan to black conversion process)
tinted tails with custom led tail lights
--engine is perfect now--
ordered a new vertex body kit so tht should help the body
then plan on doing some upgrades jus not sure wht yet

yea, i have 4 month deadline to get this in good condition all around so i needa work fast

I'm looking forward to seeing it with the Vertex kit on. Hopefully you'll have it done before the deadline.

Besides making the engine run great another top priority should be handling that rust asap especially if its outside.

rust is gettin cut out within the next 2 weeks hopefully, i have no time cept at night to work cuz school/work and i cnt do much body work till it warms up a bit more i dnt wanna do much during rainy/chilly weather

Since you asked for suggestions...

1.) Get rid of rust on car
2.) Get rid of rust on rotors
3.) Get rid of rust under car (it's there)
4.) looks like you need a new hood? Might be an illusion
5.) You obviously need new wheels with that Vertex Kit.
6.) I can't tell from the photos, but your high beams seem to be hazy too. Might want to replace them with glass ones. Your projectors could use a plastic polish. I know you mentioned delining them, but they don't look very good in the pics.
7.) I'm not sure if a 97+ bumper grill will fit on the vertex kit, but it would look better than the mesh up top.

The 97 plus grill will fit. I agree it would look better than mesh

OR you could just paint the mesh black too, if you don't wanna spend on the grill. it'll give it a less ricey look.IMO
