92 SC300 Build
I purchased this 92 5 spd. SC300 about a year and half ago. I've been slowly stockpiling parts for it and recently got started. Here are some progress pics:
Car as purchased with 143k on it. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...b32b8f6230.jpg 1995 Aristo front clip. Almost looks to good to remove. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...1421e5d25c.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...960558a469.jpg Rear sump setup purchased ahead of time from a GE ready to modify for oil return. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...4f36303e4b.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...05025cb665.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...135d4defe3.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...401eb71a6a.jpg Front and rear sump comparison. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...d51d15b3e2.jpg Installed. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...b377d01d77.jpg Pickup gasket. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...ce3b7fe7ca.jpg TT Supra water pump with backhousing. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...f277b4a64a.jpg US spec Supra twins https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2c76734314.jpg JDM spec Supra/Aristo twins. Note the lack of exhaust bypass tube. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...9a6d016513.jpg Comparison shot of turbo outlets where downpipe mates. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...4001ea795b.jpg US https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...6c86c2b4af.jpg JDM https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...4738263626.jpg Brand new OEM TT Supra oil return rubber. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2bf5324537.jpg JDM vs US EGCV. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...d38b4c8989.jpg Brand new Toyota/Lexus lower control arm bushings. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...d8141ee898.jpg Old bushing removal. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...121f4604d8.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...9a83e24248.jpg Pics of the wiring harness I built. The most time consuming process of the swap. I started with a spare SC300 5 spd. wiring harness. I then broke it down and added the appropriate GTE electronics and wire harness plastics from the RHD Aristo harness to look as factory as possible. Here you can see starter, DIAG box, evap vsv, ED ground, and oil level sensor all exiting the harness behind the intake manifold like factory. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...06ae594f87.jpg Here you see SC300 fuse box wiring in top left, GTE igniter wiring bottom left that was added. Igniter will rest on driver side shock tower just like a factory Supra TT. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...7b885f86bf.jpg Injector 2-6, cam, MAP and IAT sensors. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...c75b70e286.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...a74f576cca.jpg |

Compare Supra TT and GE ECU pinouts and wiring diagrams. Add / relocate the necessary pins at the E9 and E10 plugs. Get your plugs and wiring from the donor GTE harness. There are a few threads on this. |
Found some more time to work on the car.

Did you keep up a price list? You're really inspiring me to get on with my build, but i'm hesitant with my small wallet. Lol.
