Default LS460 build, mostly audio system and a bit of the norm

So I picked up this 07 LS460 to use as a new demo car for our shop so I can retire my sc300. The build for that one can be seen here
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...how-build.html

As of now I got a set of BC coilovers on and a set of 22 inch HRE 640R's from aznracer that are waiting to go on. They aren't as wide as I wanted but the offsets are a lot more aggressive. 22x8.5 +12, 22x10 +0 I'm probably going to be ordering up some t demand parts to get these to fit and roll static.

Since I had the back seats out I decided to run all the wiring for the audio system.

Fiber optic cable
2 sets of rca cables
cable for processor controller
remote wires
3 sets of 12 ga speaker wire x2 ( one set on each side of the car)
2 runs of 1/0 power cable ( most likely to be ran under the car)

rca, optical, controller cable and remote wires covered in techflex and ran down the center of the car through all of the factory plastic wire covers

speaker wires also techflexed and ran down each side of the car and follows the factory wiring up the back dash and into the trunk

As for the system itself, it will include the following

Sony RSX-GS9 Hi res audio player ( I will be replacing the factory headunit with this)
Andriod mini pc fed into factory nav screen for control of sony headunit
Mosconi A class 2 channel amplifier x2 ( one will run tweeters and one will run midranges)
Mosconi zero 3 2 channel amplifer x2 ( one will run midbass and one will run subwoofer)
Mosconi 6 to 8 processor
Morel 38 anniversary 3 way component set ( ran active)
Morel Ultimo 12 inch sub

I know some of you are wondering what about all the rest of the speakers in the car? I'm building this as a purely sound quality car, taking staging and imaging into consideration. The amount of speakers and speaker locations in the factory system just wont do that. I will however keep the rest of the factory speakers ( other than what I replace in front) and add a small amplifier to power them just for those times where I feel like I want more of a "surround sound" type of feel.

Nice buy on those wheels can't go wrong with that. Love how the audio setup is coming along.

Hey Kevin....love the audio setup so far. Just out of curiosity, are you planning to add air later? keep in mind to save some space for the tank, compressor, etc. I had a buddy who did a full audio and a year later wanted air and was stuck with limited space.

Nah not planning on running air. Maybe a cup kit a while down the road. Yeah I've given all of that a thought. I figured I'll just deal with it if the time comes to run some form of air lol

I have a car audio shop and we also do automotive work for certain customers. We're dealers for black pearl body kits and also sell most of the major wheel and parts manufactures. Only bummer is that we're on the big island and the scene just isn't as big over here.

Had a little time to get tires mounted and really get a good idea of what it will take to make these fit, Gonna start rolling and pulling fenders this weekend and from there I'll know how crazy I'll need to go with adjustable arms.
I need to order extended wheel studs for the fronts. With a 5/16 spacer on, the lugs won't thread on at all. Anyone purchase any and if so, from where?

Pic of the rears

Also wanted to try something out and see how it looked. I grabbed some leftover vinyl wrap and wrapped one of the lips. I think I'm gonna roll with this for a while. I did this one really quick and left the face in. When I do the final wrap I'll pull the faces to get a better finish but this was done in one piece with no seaming.

That vinyl is interesting. Curious to see it while on the car but I'm sure it'll be fine.

You have adjustable arms? Thought there was no camber adjustment on stock.

had some time to work on the sub enclosure today. I'm doing this a little different than most as you'll see in the pics. I'm building it out of 3/4 inch birch and rather than cutting out flat pieces and putting a box together, I'm cutting out the profile of the box and stacking pieces to create the length of the box. The back and sides are gonna be made out of clear acrylic so you can see into the box. After cutting up a full 4ft x 8ft sheet of wood, this is what is left.

Had to rough cut 44 of these pieces before flush trimming them on the router.

What's the name of your shop?

That sub enclosure is sick!
