i'm postive that who ever the lexus engineer is that designed the sc dash was a over achiver... this thing will be the end of me... never have i had the trouble i am having now taking a dash out before...

Can you take some pictures of the dash after it is off? Im building a track car this year and need a general idea for the roll cage bars. Also you should make a write up of how to remove it

theres a write up in the diy section that i have been using but its mainly a just do it job thats a pita, im about to start driving to drop the car off so i will post pics of progress to help ya out

well i torn down my 1j that was locked up and turned out it was a winner when it locked up....

here it is on the stand pre tear down



this came out of rod #2




all in all there was 5 spun mains and 4 spun rods and a small bit of detination on #6 piston... getting a spare short block so its all good, ready to start building...
