If your 5.3 has the stock pan, it will be too tall. You need either an f-body pan or a C5 vette pan. Ill have the stands ready to raise the car up and Ill make sure my garage floor is clean. If time permits and you want, Ill take you for a spin so you can feel it. Also I have my stock LS1 cam, which is a decent upgrade on the 5.3's, selling it cheap if your interested.

Im actually running a Brute Speed/EPP blower cam in my car now, so if you liked the idle on it you may look into that. But Ill be looking into a large n/a cam soon, so I may have my blower cam forsale. Still need springs and pushrods though.

But the 2000 T/A cam I have is as follows: 202/210 .496 .496 116 LSA (has 56k miles on it, also have the springs and pushrods. This was my stock cam)

Also have an 04 LS1 cam, specs are: 192/207 .467 .479 116 LSA (approx 105k miles on it)

The SC570 probably will only be on the streets one or 2 more times. Bought a new car, so the SC is going under the knife again. Adding Lexan windows, rest of the cage, big and littles, and ridding the rest of the factory wiring except for head lights and taillights.

Its still sitting on my garage floor, waiting for all the solid bushings to show up. Going to risk the stock diff this weekend on the drag radials one last time.

Possibly both. Just shedding more weight to start with, and focus on getting the heads built and sourcing a lq9 block. Ill be taking it out one last time for tx2k this weekend, just a bit of spectating. after that, in the garage getting torn down.

For dd, yes. Didnt make it out to tx2k. With the weather it was easier to just relax at home and save the gas.
