Talking

When the swap is done you should go to nicest Lexus dealership you can find and tell a mechanic you have a loud noise coming from under your hood. Try to film his reaction when you pop the hood.

If it wasent for the fact that they would prob charge you just to pop ur hood I would say thats a good idea LoL

With all that's being spent on the swap a little extra $ probably wouldn't hurt. Or you could take it to a Toyota or Chevy dealer.

You should change your name to GMdremz or Chevydremz

Thanks everyone. I would go to the Lexus dealer out here, but yes they charge just to get the car in a bay. And I cant change my screen name, cause I would have to change it on 15+ different forums, plus dreams (dremz) of a turbo are still pending for this engine, so it still applies

But, small update. Deleted the EGR stuff, waiting for the block-off plate to come in, and got the Hookers on and test fitted and have already ordered the parts to start the first few feet of the exhaust. Will go from 2'' at the bottom of the collector, to a 2'' to 3'' expansion pipe, will stay true dual with an x-pipe, but still debating on what mufflers.

Couple pics:

Didnt get a chance to take the trans off the engine, but will be doing that this evening for sure.

More to come

I love this. I cant wait to see the progess. Definatly in on this one. I hope to do the same thing youre doing...but with a viper motor...it will happen, but not for a few more years. Got to get financially stable first. I just hope no one does this before I get the chance.

A V10 would be nice, but honestly for the price of the LS1 VS. the V10, you could build the LS1 and yield the same or better results and spend less.

I will get more pics rolling once I get the mounts in, and once I get moved. My car is currently holding moving supplies, but the new garage is much bigger, and has much better lighting.

Well guys, I was hoping to have an update with the engine in the car, BUT I have not received my mounts from DGR yet...
