Thanks Mike!

I might have found another pan that will work. Waiting to hear back on the dimensions.

Finally took some time to install a JDM Sports Grip blackwood steering wheel. Its been sitting for awhile and now on the car!

don't mind the center console, the blackwood just isn't in yet.

Hey Mike I'm not sure if this was already covered but what rear end are you using? My buddy was telling me if I was to use the GM 6 speed I would need a rear with some 410 gears.

Not quite right at all. 4:10 IMHO is overkill and too much!

The 2005-2006 GTO uses 3:46 gears with the a4 auto and 6-speed T56

Most the GTO guys upgrade the gears to 3:91

The GS300 has 3:91 gears stock

what a perfect match

I'm not sure what the most popular 6spd gm gears being used are, but you can get 4:08's from a W58 SC300 or 4:27's from and Auto SC300 which would be close..

Although the difference between the 4:08 and the 3:92 currently in the GS300 would be marginal.

Do wah? You've had that BW stuff back for a couple months now?! I know you've done messed with that shifter setup since the last pics I saw, so that means you had it out and are just being lazy now. haha

Did you at least install the door panel wood when u had them off to install the speakers?

ah, 3:46... too bad toyota makes the big jump from the jdm 3:26 to the 3:76 with nothing in between.

I havent installed the center console yet because I haven't figured out the shift boot and I also still need to wire the reverse camera to the "power/snow" switch so I can manually turn on the back up camera at any point.

I want to put in the blackwood console and not have to take it out again for any reason, so when I do the wiring, I'll put it in.

The door panel blackwood was put on the day i did the speakers.

Mike,

Do you think this alternator relocation will work, it looks pretty high, and I'm not sure about hood clearance with the alternator that high in that area. I need to relocate the alternator for the headers to face forward and feed the turbo.

I may have to go with another alternator out of a truck that can mount lower, and use this more expensive bracket.

Yes that will fit under the GS hood. There is a good 6-7" above the Intake manifold/TB for clearance.
