I'll do my best haha. But a quote someone once told me was "If you work with wood, you might end up with a few wood chips on you".

No huge updates, but I made a Start-up / Idle video just to show how the car starts and idles with the current setup.

Note that I already had the car semi-warmed up. I have a complete lack of any sort of idle control devices (FIAV, IACV, etc). Literally just a TB with an idle adjustment screw, that's it. So when starting from a complete cold start, the car still starts fine but I hold the throttle at about 1500rpm & count to about 15 just to help it warm up a little. Then I let off and it idles just like this. Very happy with how it starts and idles, especially with the lack of idle control devices. I think a lot of that has to do obviouslly with Vlad's tuning and the AEM Infinity, but also these FID 1600 injectors do a great job as well. Also these cams are fairly mild (268 w/ 9mm max lift) and don't seem to add a significant amount of lope, help keeping idle fairly smooth as well.

Damn that idles so quiet.. how do you compare the idle to when you where running 2000cc injectors?

Very nice. That is beautiful! Love the quiet exhaust. Total sleeper mode.

Yeah it's very quiet. Cruising on the highway it's as quiet in the interior as stock. Love it.

Idle on these injectors is noticably better. However the idle wasn't really that bad with 2150's. I never really had an issue with how it idled before, and now that I have 1600's I can tell it idles better/smoother. But it still idled fine on the 2150's to be honest, especially again for a car with zero idle control peripheral devices.

Got it tinted today at a local shop called Auto Trimmers. Met the owner and he was extremely friendly. Showed me there shop and all the stuff they work on. Told me "thank you, I really appreciate you choosing to business with us" which I can't even remember the last time a shop owner has said those words to me. Much respect to him!

Goal with tint was to just make the car less of a fish bowl, not go dark to the point where I'll get hassled, and also enhanced heat rejection. So I went with the Carbon CXP45 (which is actually closer to 40% according to their site spec sheet). I really like how it turned out. Exactly what I was looking for, not too dark but functional. The sun was blaring into the drivers side window on the drive home, and I could tell the heat was much less intense then it used to be.

Cost $250 to do the whole car. I plan on getting a new windshield at some point and once that happens I plan to add either some really see thru tint to the windshield or an eyebrow / visor.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone!

I got my clutch switch wired in over the weekend, so today we activated a standard 2-step, anti-lag, and NLTS.

Here's my token Anti-Lag Test video

Couple photos from last nights meet. My friend was there with his 700hp supercharged C6. We were lined up to do a pull with nothing but road ahead of us, but while waiting at the stop light two cops flipped a u-turn in front of us spoiling the fun. We both had cameras running and all, son-of-a...

Dropped off mine and another local's 8.8's to get rebuilt. They will be completely rebuilt with all new bearings/seals/gear-set from Ford Performance. The LSD we chose were from Wavetrac (supposed to be best of the best w/ legit lifetime warranty). Should be done in a week or two, then basically just waiting on Grannas Racing to send the swap kit!

Awesome! If you don't mind, where did you get the diff from? I'm also going to be doing the 8.8 swap.

I called the local LKQ. Told em what I was looking for, they found a bunch in their national inventory. They have a shipping hub in Minneapolis (I think they do in most large cities). So they just had it shipped to the hub (no cost to me) and I just picked it up from there 2 days later. Was about $135 out the door after tax.

I got my CD009 the same way.

Highly recommend anyone looking for one to try that same approach if u have a LKQ near you.
