Local guy that helps me with CAD work sometimes, he designed the whole thing, had them made at his work out of SS. Turned out amazing. He did a group buy on them on the FB pages a couple months back.

I'm still following too! Love your build.

How are you measuring knock? Are you using the factory sensors? Or have you switched to a flat response sensor?

Dyno @ DB 9/11 @ 10am with Danny on their DynoJet!!

Street tuning is 99% done. I'm going to send Vlad one last log to verify but I think we are done! Five Boost settings (WG ~16psi ; 19psi ; 22psi ; 26psi ; AllThePSI ~30). Last year I had Vlad do some final dialing in on the dyno to squeeze out everything we could. This year I'm not going to do that. We got it running full steam, it's dialed in good and safe, I just don't feel the need to spend more time/money/energy to squeeze maybe another 10hp or something out of it with the help of the dyno. So I'm just going to go to DB to do some pulls just to see how it does, no tuning or anything. Based on what I'm seeing in AEM and the butt dyno, I'm hoping for right around 775hp, we shall see!

Also I got some new under trays from Z30 Concepts. I'm missing a factory piece to finish bolting up the rear. Once I have that it'll be buttoned up. But very happy with the fit n finish. Gave me a great price since I ordered the full set.

Dyno today at DB made 812/737. Not too shabby! Dyno graph comparing last year to this year. More power everywhere!

That's a cool video, what did you use to integrate the gauges into the video?

Also, congrats on the numbers!

AEM Data does the video overlay. Was my first time experimenting with it, thought it was kinda neat.

Some pics from our season closer meet at GrimmSpeed. I was one of 10 Lexus/Toyota/Scion's on display inside the facility. Awesome meet, probably overall had to be close to 100 cars present at the meet. Good vibes and atmosphere, and tons of cool raffle prizes donated by Real St, MAPerformance, and Naber Racing which was really cool of them to support us!

Here is the photo album from the meet if anyone is interested in seeing all the photos:

Been awhile since I updated. Big change for this year was changing out the CD009 setup to a Grannas Tremec Magnum T56 setup. My CD009 was starting to make a weird grinding/buzzing noise when slipping the clutch which turned out to be a pilot bearing issue. But I also hated that twin disc. So I went with the GR700 kit (Magnum 6spd factory rated at 700tq). Comp Clutch MPC twin disc. This clutch is similar to the McLeod and very catered to high hp street cars. So it's meant to hold power and drive nice, which holy cow does it! Had a driveshaft made local at AA Driveline out of .100" DOM 2.5" steel. Also had to drop the diff and replace the 3.27 gears with 4.10's to match up with this new trans gearing.

So far super happy with it! Drives 100x better than the old setup in just about every aspect. And installs easier too. I actually enjoy driving this car again!!

Also shout out to Ryan (CatManD3W) for helping me a bit, I went with the same shifter he is running on his. Thanks dood!

Also In general I'm just trying to remind myself this is a street car, not a race car, and making sure to try and stay true to that. So with that being said, now that I'm generally happy with how the car is running and driving, I've decided to start tackling the interior which is one area I've been slacking and even done some things I'd like to redo.

Operation Interior Rehab has officially begun. The interior has always been ok from a far. But once you're in the car you realize it needs a bit of TLC. The light beige color just really looks dirty a lot. Carpet is dirty. And this car truly is a street car so i feel like these race seats were a bad idea. So my goal is to clean up the interior and make it a bit more classy and comfy again. Id like to try and imitate the darker tan/black color schemes you see a lot in like bmw's. Im going to have a lot more black then tan i think just because of how this interior is, but i want some of that cool tan contrast coloring.

Something like this is sort of my inspiration and vision:

https://qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qim...05ca76a666a915

So here we go! Corbeau's will be up for sale soon. I already purchased a used set of Toyota Celica seats for $85 out the door lol. Looking into reupholstering options but the plan is dark tan leather. Rear seats will be done in the same as well. I made some basic brackets to bolt these seats into my car, but my local buddy David Mao really kicked it up a notch and made some legit looking brackets. I made some handmade brackets, and drew a very generic sketch up in Solidworks using them for dimensions. Sent that over to David and let him work his magic to make them 'legit' and boy did he deliver!!
