Custom **Black and red leather** SC300 interior build!!

Hello, yes this is another sc300 build thread! but this one might actually be worth a look as i have never seen anything like what im doing done to a SC300 interior.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...k%205spd/2.jpg

I have a 1992 black SC300 original 5spd with 120k miles on it.

Ive had the car for years and everything done to date on the car i have done myself as i purchased the car stock.

-The start of the project-

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../8interior.jpg

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../9interior.jpg

I started with my stock tan interior, project plan is to do a complete black and red leather swap into the 92 body to give it a much updated look.

I have already started and must say its proving to be a mush larger task and more time consuming then planed as so many tabs were broken on the doors (common problem) the window trims rear window rims ETC just alot more work them expected as i am doing the interior over the top "OCD" perfect.

So after i pulled the entire interior from both cars i took the time to tediously repaire and reinforce every single tab and reinforce common problem break spots even if they were not broken yet with sheets of metal.

-Donor car-

I purchased a Blue 95 sc300 just for the mint black leather interior it had as over 60% of my new interior was going to retain the stock OEM black leather.

interior was mint but still needed alot of tabs repaired and common problem areas reinforced.

-Project end-

a full OEM black interior with a very tastefull design that i "blue printed" by looking at other cars and deciding what i think would look best in the SC. Designed with red leather and changing the OEM wood to aluminum/silver for an updated look

Tan -to- black
wood -to- silver
black -to- red

will post pictures when completed but have a few of some of the parts i have already finished to give an idea of where this is going, interior has been in transit over a week now!
