This is some top-notch body work for sure. Its going to take allot of "finesse" to get that bodyline just right.Got a question.
Why did you cut lines in your fenders? Is it to relieve pressure when you pull so the rest of the panel dosent get out of whack? Did you just cut the two in the picture or where there more? Did you make the same cuts in the rear? And what did you spray on the panels before the body work that looks bluish-grey, epoxy?
Thanks guys. I'm in Hawaii on vacation right now but this should be done by the time I get back.
when you pull or push any metal, it will get distorted somewhere else...fact...unless you relieve it and reweld. The bluish grey is just grey primer with blue guide coat for blocking. The lines won't take very much to get right when you've been doing this for 38 years 
. My partner from my old hot rod bodyshop is doing the work. He has busted out some award winning hot rods in his time. This is cake. Our shop has been featured in Street Rodder some years back.

Thanks for answering my questions. You guys look like the real deal. I think people throw around the word "custom" too casually. Now this is just my opinion,but, buying some parts and installing them on your car is not custom, it's aftermarket.
To me custom means one-off. Metal fabrication, Completely changing the color of a car to something unavailable from the factory, Having an interior designed and stiched up by a real live human being, and I would even consider motor swaps custom.
Checkout this video for some serious metal work and fabrication.I'm just going to link one cause I'm not trying to jack-up your thread but you should watch the others from these guys as well to see some cool truly custom cars. The channel on youtube is called FASTLUCK.
This is a cool build, good to see someone who isnt scared to go cutting into their car and then bust out the welder. Post a ton of pictures! Im trying to pick up some tips!
