Hey CL, i had extra time on my hands over the weekend so i made alil video of how the 1J sounds with the Blitz Nur Spec R.

Whats Good CL, Well just another update, recently a week or so back i had the Greddy Boost Cut Controller & Speed Cut Controller for sale..
I was oringinally goin to go with a Blitz Tuned ECU from a JZX90, but since i already had the BCC & SCC i decided what the hell, why dont i jus wire this in my car and give it a try...LoL
With the lil simple BPU mods that i have done to my 1J SC300 i was hittin Boost cut like it was nothin.
-Intake
-3" Custom DP
-3" Full Blitz Nur Spec R *Singal Exit exhaust*
-4" Front Mount Intercooler
-1JZ JZX90 fuel pump *soon to be Walbro*
So i added the BCC & SCC!!!


Man!!!! now my car is pulling like a lil beast..LoL
took it for a lil test run on i95 today...
im at aorund 14.5-15psi(no boost controller)
the car didnt break up not 1 bit, like it was before when i was hittin boost cut, soon as i got to around 13.5-14psi i hit Boost cut
I hit 145mph wit a passenger in the car wit me, the car wanted to go more but i got kinda scared so i let off, so i kno the SCC is workin for sure..
Anyway i beat a few cars so far before i put the BCC & SCC in.
-BMW 545i (V8)
-Audi Turbo
-VW Turbo
-GSR EK Hatch on Boost
-LS Vtec integra on Boost
-5.7 Hemi Challenger (v8)
Thats all for now...im supposed to race a R/T magnum on spray, we will see how that goes..LoL

This is amazing. I just got my SC400 today! Don't even have the tags yet. I'm inspired reading through this. At the same time I'm kinda overwhelmed knowing that I don't know a darn thing about cars and engines and stuff. All I know is what looks good.
I've always loved the SCs and someone told me a long time ago when I lived in P.R. that they had Supra engines in them. This site is helping me a lot but I sure have a lot to learn.

I feel like all the money and hard work I have spent on the car is finally starting to pay off..

As a noob, I have a question, Didn't your car have a 2JZ? And isn't that the Supra engine? Why would you go with a 1JZ? I've seen the 1JZ put into a thousand toyotas (big old school celica fan) so I guess it is a good engine, I was just wondering about the swap and did you sell your old motor?

Yes my car came with a non turbo 2JZ motor, the reason I swap in a 1JZ is because in japan the Lexus SC300 aka Toyota Soarer comes from the factory wit a 1JZ motor, so as long as u buy the right 1J from the Toyota Soarer the swap was basically a direct drop in/plug n play...jus has to extend the wiring harness since the JDM motors have shorter harnesses cuz they drive on the right side of the car...
I also decided to do the swap because at the moment the Lexus is my only car and I felt like the doin the JDM motor swap was the most reliable way...now that I have done the swap the car is a lot faster then the non turbo 2JZ, and my car is basically stock.
