Official Sharpie IS350 Continuous Build Thread

never ceases to amaze me. i still remember seeing it the first time and saying to you, "yah... i don't know if we have anyone here in socal that can do that kinda work..." (maybe the models, but not the artists to throw down some sharpie action on your moving canvas...)
just remember, kids, he did it first, and he did it big. that makes UV an innovator. he gets mad props for that.
always imitated, never duplicated. go buy you some.

You said it Projectdna, totally innovative.
UV: I saw your car for the first time on the Lexus Sema site, didn't realize that it was all sharpie. Wish I would have got to see it at the SF Autoshow in person.
Sweet pics on the stereo build. (And the models too!)

the goal is in sound quality not necessary "loudness of bass" Audiophile grade amplifiers, subs, tweeters, and midranges are being considered.
even though we fired up the system already, now it is apart for cosmetic stuff, here are some other sneak previews: on top of fatmatting the car, boards were placed and then the whole car foamed in to ensure a 100% seal.
excess foam will then be shaved off.
it is guaranteed this is one system no one has ever heard. and you will never guess how much power is powering it!
stay tuned!

Finished! 90% still got 2 more side panels, a 21" LCD, and a lil more to go.
pink noise testing
the system has more htan enough sound / power to power a school dance, a dance club, and knocks louder and cleaner than 75% of the systems out there.
most products used are made for home stereo use and have been converted to car audio use.
Sub being used is still the original prototype sub, the finished cosmetic unit will arrive shortly in a few weeks.

Somebody mentioned the use of plywood and I read somewhere the marine-grade plywood (I've no idea what this build is using.) was supposed to be stronger and lighter (and pricier) than MDF.
