my only question is; How did you get sponsored with such an old car??

i mean..sponsors usually only sponsor New-er cars to promote their products. I just find this odd..

its a partial sponsorship. not many companies in this industry do full sponsorships anymore (sans tires) and i wouldnt expect the few remaining to do them with the current economic climate. the list of parts going on my car is pages long and i think it will represent/push the vertex brand well, which is why i think i got the sponsorship.

the exterior should be done well before tx2k10 and i do plan on taking her to the meet. though, going there with a stock motor will be somewhat embarrassing lol.

its been raining off and on so not much work has been done in the past few weeks

other side has been smoothed. the rear glass is just sitting there so im guessing after the holidays they should be starting to cut the oem qp's and mold on the new qp's.




got rid of the origin roof spoiler since i didnt really like how it slanted upward so much. i ended up finding this gem. ive only seen it on one other sc, so i guess its pretty rare, or just really new. its a translucent plasic visor like the toyota rain guards i have for the windows, but im not sure if i want to paint it since it will match them. i guess ill have to see it on the car when its painted.

I got the same roof spoiler yesterday! It came in the mail. It surprised when it came since it is translucent as you said.

I thought it was gonna be solid. Since it matches window visors Im probably not painting also.

I saw those sleeker roof spoilers advertised- looks really nice I think.
I bet it'll look great, and match the rain guards well. Did you say that you'll be shaving the front fender openings fully, modding them, or are you leaving them as is?

no updates on the car, but i just received my calipers back from rb chroming on supraforums. they did a good job on the rebuild and chroming at a good price.
