with the PC job, did they use silicone plugs on all the bolt holes...or at least some means of preventing the powder from getting in there? That would be good bit of work I imagine. That looks absolutely amazing though!

Naw, actually the threads are pretty good. Went around checking the important ones and they where nice. I do have a thread chaser kit, so i wasnt too worried about it.
5spd, For the cage, thats just the way it came out. I would have liked to tie it in but with the gas tank and filler neck there, plus the weird shapes of the towers, I just didnt feel like dealing with it. When your trying to get a car done as fast as you can, sometimes the small details just dont get done. I really like the way it looks, think its cleaner without too many braces and such. That chassis is so thick and heavy already, it really doesnt need much more. Trust me, I've rolled an sc300 at 100mph. Thats how I lost my first one.

So saturday, went to hin with the hot rod. I didnt win that autobarrel race unfortunatly, the car started acting up. The trans wouldnt stay in gear so I would have to hold it with one hand and try to drive with the other. Then it was making some bad noises in the rear end. After that all went down, some friends of mine were doing the drift demo on the other side. Someone said "hey, why dont you bring the hot rod over." So I asked if we could and yeah, brought it over to the other side of the show. Grabbed my helmit out of the truck, barrow a set of tires from John off his corolla, and went in the last demo of the night. Made just a few laps before the rear end finally let go, just pulled it in and parked it at that point.
Sunday, back to work on the car. Went into the machine shop cause its the only time we can really play and test fit new parts. Finished up making the subframe spacers to eliminate the stock bushings.

Good news, Picked up a sponsor for cooling products. Maybe you heard of them,
More pictures of the products once they are in and being installed.
For now, had to start making this car a roller so I can drop it off at the body shop. Started on the upper control arms and removed the stock bushings.
Then cleaned out the left over rubber. The front upper is on the right, the rear upper is on the left. On the rears, they have a metal insert and with the new bushing kit, I just left those in there instead of taking them out.
Then installed the delrin bushings we made a couple weeks ago.
Then pulled out the front subframe and bolted it to the car.
Added the delrin rack bushings and bolted that on.
Battle Version rear traction links and rear toe links.
Then put the rear subframe together.
Its really hard trying to get work done and worrying about trying to get the parts you need to continue working on the car. I spend so much time on the phone and internet inbetween all the installs that I'm really supprised that I can get work done. Today also tore the motor apart but going to save you from motor pics. So many on the forums that I'll wait till its getting ready to be put in. Goal is 1000hp.

I mean you're the pro here but 1000 hp is a little overkill for a drift car.
but then again the new tracks are getting faster and faster so, i could see why you might want all that power. high speed enterys
