Are you going to swap to USDM turbos/cams/injectors?

I'm torn about my turbo plans. Keeping stock cams and injectors. I'm going to be limited by the auto transmission. I bought a set of used USDM twins but I just don't want to have to rip those babies back off anytime soon. Still trying to decide. I don't want to half-*** the single so it would be a Boost Logic kit or equivalent. I think if I could truly assess the condition and quality of the twins it would help my decision, but I'm guessing at this point.

Thanks dude. I was truly blown away by the machine shops work here in MS. I did my research and my options were limited. After moving from CA, the shops here seemed almost non-existent. The guy that did this does the Toyota dealerships major engine overhaul work, so I felt like he would respect keeping the deck smooth for the MHG as well as installing the freeze plugs. Picture speaks a thousand words.

How's San Dog by the way. I used to live in Tierrasanta. (99-2001)

Default Small update

Got my gasket kit, oil pickup and lower oil pan all shiny and new. Just waiting to pick up the upper oil pan, pistons, manifold and lower runner. Pics for all below. Also, the toyo tool makes things so easy its redonkulous. I can believe I ever considered any thing else. Works perfect. Spark plug cover turned out nice too. Next are valve covers courtesy of Ohrli over at supraforums. Chrommmmmmmme......

Default Shots of the 17 year old SC

Throwing in some shots post HD Bilstein setup. Supra springs and Bilstein HD's do not dissappoint. Hard to believe sometimes that this car is that old.
