A intercooled 4.7 liter on 20lbs boost, in theory it should hit that. But can you imagine the torque this engine should put out?
Linear tq and hp, baby! Your car will launch as quick and easily as any real high-end exotic cars. The tq is down below for fun. 20 lbs of boost on 4.7? I'd say 600 bhp for this setup is easy for this baby. 20 hp/psi x 20 psi = 400 rwhp. The boost alone already equals to 400 rwhp, not to mention the 4.7 L engine can produce. An additional 246 rwhp?

After seeing the pictures of Mark's (Blizzy) new headers I had to get a set. I was already questioning the S&S shorty headers for my build. My cams have a powerband from 3500-7500rpm plus the fact its a 4.7 Liter all makes me feel like a larger diameter longer tube header is required. The Rush headers are 1.75" stainless tube plus they are extremly long, the craftsmanship looks super. I contacted Neil and ordered them. Will update with pics when I get them. I'm am excited!

Scott,
When you assemble the supercharger and the water-air intercooler together, can you post some pics of how the setup looks like? I just want to learn how the intercooler can work for the root supercharger setup.

2 months...T minus and counting on your project...LOL.

Oh no! U went with the AEM EMS! Plug and play my ****! Welcome to my nightmare!

U got anyone to tune it for you? Let me know if U find a really good guy. I went to Ray at fusion works here in town (Suppose to be the AEM supra guru) and he had "issues" with my setup and pretty much gave it back to me in worse shape than I gave it to him. So I started over myself and read that huge manual like 8 times!

I've got my tune about 95% done now. It drives nice and boosts well. But It's not quite as perfect as the factory ECM was. I'd like to get it there! If U need any help getting it up and running, just gimmie a call! Pretty confident I could get it setup at least well enough to get to a dyno...

Got an ETA on completion a date?

Well I hope to have good luck with it. I am going to fly Mitch Pederson in to tune it. He is a AEM expert, infact he used to work for them. He actually opened this unit up and modified it for my V8 and set it up for my COP's. He also loaded it with some maps from another boosted 1UZ that he tuned recently. He provied me with a ton of info regarding hookup/install. I hope it goes smoothly but who knows. Perhaps I should put you in touch with him?

I am hoping to get this car ready for tune in late january but it could be delayed, we will see.

Man nice setup and looks like it is thought through. Always nice to see CLEAN, THOUGHT OUT projects - which all of yours are. Man you change setups like they are boxers lol

Creating a new path for people to follow, or dream to follow

Good Luck.

If you keep selling odd ball parts I am sure I can help fund your project haha.

I am def keeping on top of this thread. Seeing as I will pretty much have your old setup (part for part really) I HAVE to see what the 4.7 brings to the streets. Keep it up Scott!

New headers from Rush imports arrived! Wow that was fast!
These headers are beautiful! Stainless construction! Tig welds!
1 3/4" primarys dump into 2" then 2" dump into 2.5". They are sweet! Neil Griffiths really pulled thru on these. Once I fit them I will share more but for now I am extremly pleased.

wow. nice. 4-2-1 design is so much nicer for torque then a 4-1.

hey scott what are the specs on the valve springs and cams. im curious how much seat and full lift kelford uses on their stuff.

do they actually make their own springs or do they design and outsource to a big manufacturer like ferrea?
