Default Cleaning Battery fan cooling fan filter HS250h

MY dealer says there is no need to clean filter. I think there is a need to check. Isn't this a service item?

Wrong place bro...

@Bichon Can you find this a suitable home?

But ya, common sense says air handling equipment like fans and filters require maintenance. I agree.

We already discussed this in the other thread you started and I advised that and there is no filter. Did you not look at the pdfs of the blower assembly, as they do not show any filter.
Cleaning the cooling fan & related ducts is not really a regular service item although it needs to be done every 5 years or so, especially if you have pets, kids or do not know the vehicle history.

You can look for yourself, just open the driver side rear door and look at the lower part of thedoor jamb next to the seat for the vent. Look at it and tell me if you see a filter or just a plastic vent. Use your phone flashlight to look into the vent, or pry it off and look further.

You may want to contact an independent hybrid vehicle or Lexus/Toyota repair shop for more honest advice than your dealer is providing.

Here are 2 independent Lexus/Toyota specialist shops in the Atlanta, GA area, in case that is nearby: https://lextechsofatlanta.com/
