Good ceramic coating for polished aluminum wheels ?

Hey guys I put a TON of work into refinishing these auto couture magnafiques , they were originally a brushed aluminum with a clear coat.

I wet sanded them from 220 to 2500 and then used a griots DA with metal polish in 3 stages to give it a good shine

Before I install them next week I would like to know if there is any good ceramic coatings I can use on the bare polished aluminum to keep it protected

Thank you very much in advance

Sorry I have no suggestions, I just wanted to comment on the great job you did. Those wheels look awesome.

There are some basic ceramic coatings made specifically for wheels like
but they are designed to mainly go on wheels that already have some kind of clearcoat.

With bare metal/aluminum I doubt they will adhere that well and even bare aluminum will start to corrode if there is nothing on the surface sealing it. I actually asked about this a couple months ago. One suggestion was adding POR15 and then topping that with a Spraymax 2K clear and another was this product. Eastwood ExoArmor. https://www.eastwood.com/exoarmour.html

2K Spraymax clear will not adhere sprayed directly to bare metal/aluminum properly on its own. 1K sprays that are advertised for bare metal/wheels may give you a couple months or maybe a few years but they won't have the chemical resistance or durability of a 2K clear. This is supposed to be a pretty good 1K clear but it still won't have the durability or chemical resistance of a 2K clear.

Out of everything I mentioned I think the Exo Armor would be the best most durable product but I have no experience with it.

Just use CQuartz UK 3.0. Do 2-3 coats, should protect for at least 3 years, 5+ if you don't drive on the wheels in salty winter environs. Cquartz is available on amazon in a kit for around $60. it also makes the wheels super easy to clean.

Whoa! Those wheels were seriously corroded. Applause for doing such a thorough job decontaminating them!
In the past I've used GTechniq Ceramic Coating on my wheels, until I found this product. Now I wont use anything else (That includes their Exterior Products as well. Again, super job breaking those down and building them back again with a coat involved!

Thanks guys

Thinking of running these wheels this spring , quartz still the brand of choice ?
