Lower Door Scuff Removal?

Greetings all,
I'm new to the Club Lexus forums but not new to forums. I've been a Toyota 4runner owner for years and I finally decided to move to Lexus. I started out in a Lexus NX, but found that I didn't enjoy something so cramped so I've recently purchased a certified 2016 Lexus RX 350 w/ Premium package. I'm overall very happy with the vehicle, but I've noticed some scuff marks on lower part of the driver and passenger doors (the hard interior lower plastic) and was wondering what you guys use to kinda clean/remove those? I've been doing some research and have seen many suggestions on google, but I always found a lot of people in my 4runner forums with the same issues and found the forums to usually be the best "real world" place for answers. So, I figured I'd say hey, and see what you guys think. I did try to search here, but I didn't find a result I was looking for so any suggestions are appreciated. I'm from the Fort Worth area and although I miss my 4runner's truck like capabilities, I'm finding the RX to be more than suitable for my use and at 6'4, fairly comfortable compared to the NX.

To clean these plastic areas I use: Nextzett Plastic Vinyl Cleaner Plastik Reiniger.
To protect the plastic I use: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus. I find that this product helps reduce the scratches when you inevitably scuff these areas.

Thanks. It just seems no matter how careful you are, they get scuffed. I wish they would use a different material there, the rest of the cabin materials are really good. I had the same issue in my 4runner.

Are the scuffs transfer marks or is the plastic trim actually scraped/scratched? If the former, Mr. Clean magic erasers work wonders. Post a couple of pics...

I think it may either be scuffed or scraped. I don't feel them, so I'm hoping I can get them out.

Try the magic eraser (lots of YouTube vids about this) first then apply some interior detailer like 303 Protectant or Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer. The detailer will help your shoe slide over the surface rather than scuff or scratch it. And these don’t leave behind that glossy, shiny and oily residue.

Thanks. I did try the magic eraser but it didn't seem to do much. I just used it with some water, I didn't try anything further out of fear of discoloration if I used the wrong type of cleaner. I've got an appt at the dealer tomorrow for a warranty issue so I may ask them for advice as well. I'll continue to watch some vids and see what else I can discover. Thanks for the tip on the detailer.
