Dealer scratched car; how to fix
I brought my car in for a recall and oil change, and the car came back with scratches like the pic below. I'm contacting the dealership to see if they'll do anything about it.
What do you think they will do to fix scratches like that? It's not deep, but it feels like some part of the clear coat is scrapped off. It looks like some kind of fine, hard, needle like metal wire scratched it.

That will polish out to some extent but don't do anything until the dealer responds. I've fixed clear coat scratches by painting (touch up pen) then wet sanding but don't do this unless you have some experience.

If it was me I'd buff or repair it myself and never go back to that dealer again. Either way tell the dealer you're going to take it to a body shop you trust because you don't trust them not to damage your car again.

they may polish and add glaze to cover the scratches... trust they will not remove the scratches and when u get the car back, hit it with a scan grip or led light and u will prob see haze or buffer trails of some sort. u will prob only need the sun to see it.
