Default Windshield chip repair

Question for my fellow detailing nerds...have you DIY repaired chips on your windshield? If so product used, recommendations, tips, etc... I have a couple very small chips on my windshield (outside layer glass only, not down to safety lament / not big bulls eye type). One is near my line of vision so it bugs the crap out of me when driving. Also would this repair fill it so I wouldn't notice it in my line of sight while driving?

Thanks in advance

I found that my insurer covers chip repairs for free. Check with your insurance agent before you try a DIY.

Really depends on how OCD you are. It won't remove it completely from your sight, but you "might" get use to it.

Yeah it is included in my insurance policy ( I think up to 3 chips are covered) so I just had a pro do it. I can still see it from the inside but it isn't as noticeable and won't spread so GTG for for awhile.
