Default Armor All SmartShield

I purchased a new GS350 F Sport in Ultra White. I initially declined all extended warranty and dealer applied profit center options.... After everything was signed, the business manager offered to discount the SmartShield to $800. I told him I would research and think about it. Well, I didn't find that much online to convince me but thought I'd run it by the Board.

About me: I'm not a polisher, I'll wash my cars and get them detailed once a year but it is just the basic stuff. I tend to keep cars a long time, I have a 2005 LX470 and 2006 GS430 that I am the original owner.

Not sure I can justify $800 for something that looks like it should not be more than $300 on a new car, please advise.

Thanks

I generally stay away from Armor All in general, but that's personal preference. There's so many products out there that will do it much better and longer.

Armor All products generally aren't very good, so even though this is a good price for having a ceramic coating done professionally, I'd spend a bit more and have it done elsewhere, but with a much better product. I know Gyeon is a pretty popular one. My vote is a pass here.

I agree with this. You can even get away going for Gtechniq CSL for $70 which typically last 3 to 5 years. (Depending on your maintenance)
