Default Cleaning up my leather... 4LS

I have an 08 LS 460 and the leather where the skin touches has become a little dirty. Is there anything that will remove this? I have tan leather.

Soapy water. The leather has a polyurethane clearcoat (for all intents and purposes, VINYL ). Fancy leather cleaners are a waste of money.

Default 303 Protectorant

Well, I took the Lexus 460, 2007, for a drive. Car has been in garage for 4 days. 20 minutes in the sun and dash is as shiny as can be, also tacky. Time for new dash. Put 303 on it to help, but this is a lost cause. Had the previous owners responded to the two letters they were sent I would not have this issue. Thinking of taking it back to Lexus and leaving it. Go to bank and cancel loan.

good to know... i wonder if everyone who has this problem used meguairs lol I thankfuly had the presence of mind to use what I used in my previous cars instead of trying something new... i was tempted tho.. I use 303. but this car has survived since 2007 problem free ive only recently got it...

There's no way Meguirs interior detailer did that to your dash. Most people around here - including myself - consider it to be one of the best interior detailer son the market. It's easy on all surfaces, it's easy to get, it doesn't streak and it doesn't leave a shiny finish.

Ove been using it for ten years...zero issues. I know tons of people that use it and none of them have had an issue.

The LS460 dash and armrests are a known failure item on these cars. They melt. Especially the earlier models.

Well I have both products, 303 and Maquires. I think they are both good. I am waiting today to hear if the Lexus Dealer
will fix my dash or assist in some fashion, crossing fingers.

Meguiar's QID is a water based cleaner with UV protection. It dries to the touch and doesn't make vinyl gummy. Don't be too eager to place blame on QID for dash failure if you own a Lexus or Toyota. This is a known manufacturer problem that has been happening for a quite a while. There is/was a dash replacement program but it sounds like Lexus/Toyota was slow-walking the replacements.
