Default PDR or body shop?

Have a dent on right fender that doesn’t appear to have any paint damage. There is some paint damage on the bumper. Was quoted $925 at a collision repair center with free touch up on the scratches on the bumper.

Should I pay the $925 for the dent or try to go PDR? How well will PDR results be if the dent is right on the curved crease design?

Depends how good your PDR guy is really. We've done stuff like that numerous times. It's time consuming to do but in many cases can be fixed to look perfect. Find a reputable shop and go from there.

Would going to the body shop and paying $925 be considered a ripoff and bad idea for a dent like that?

I would honestly try PDR first and see how good the result is before spending anything close to $925.

PDR will cost you less than half of that amount probably.

Another option is to hunt down a fender in the same color with no damage at a local yard or even eBay.

A great PDR guy could make that perfect. I would much rather have that done than to have that fender repainted.

I would hunt for PDR first. You'd be amazed at what can be done.

Where in California do you live? Shane Rosas, of Allout Dent Repair, is a PDR wizard.

I wouldn't get it repainted, Lexus paint is actually really good from the factory far better than most shops could replicate, save the oem paint, try a Pdr guy, they literally work magic!

A good PDR guy would probably be able to remove that 100%.
