Never heard of those. Sorry.

Make sure to tear off the tags and remove the plastic ties that hold the towels together in a pack. Don't want to rub leftover plastic ties on your nice paint haha.

We pretty much used up all the other brands of MF towels we've ever bought and only order these now for everything. And I mean everything.
That's good to know. I ordered 12 towels to try out.

I've heard good things about the towel, but I have no personal experience with them. They're too pricey to be one time use towels for coating removal.

So I finally got around to ordering all of the stuff and doing the coating. I polished the non clear-bra'ed areas using CarPro Essence, then wiped everything down with CarPro Eraser. The second coat of 22ple HPC is curing now, it really is easy to work with. Also did the wood trim inside and it looks awesome too.

So, I waited 16 hours between the first coat and the second coat, the second coat will have been on for 12 hours at about 9:00 tonight. Question, I have product left, any benefit to doing a third coat? I could do a third coat and let it cure overnight easily without missing the use of the car.

Second question, in my research I have heard that the car shouldn't get wet for as long as possible allowing the best cure. Truth to that? I have appointments Sunday and its supposed to rain (of course). If its better to let it stay dry I'll take the van.

Thanks y'all!

BTW, those Meguiars microfibers are really great. I bought a ton.

1. 3rd coat would add piece of mind. Personally, I would use the remainder on the wheels.

2. I've never used HPC, so I'm not sure on the exact times for the coatings. Each coating has a certain amount of time where it is still prone to getting water spots and potentially hardening with the water spots in it. That's why the longer you wait the better it is. Gtechniq CSL was 24 hours, Gyeon Mohs has you apply Gyeon cure after 24 hours to prevent water spots.

Almost all of them say its safe to wash with soap after 1 week.

I have one coat on the wheels, would do a second coat and a third coat on the car tonight most likely. I have 50mL so I have plenty.

The box says 12 hours between coats, doesn't say anything about rain.

I would wait at least 24 hours before exposing the car to the elements after applying the final coat..... if you have another vehicle and can go longer, might as well.

So the decision was made for me, I was actually out of HPC lol. So 50 ml is enough for two coats on the paint, one on the wheels, and one on the wood trim of a LWB LS. Someone more experienced could have stretched it I’m sure. I did the final coat last night.

Planning on driving the car today, it’s supposed to be sunny and nice, it’ll be parked underground unless it’s being driven. Tomorrow I likely will leave it out of the rain.
