Freshener or no?
 

My GS always gets compliments on smelling good, and I don't use anything. Its just the natural leather smell. But recently theres a freshener I really want to get it, its a vent freshener, will it ruin the the natural leather smell? What I mean is after if I decide to stop using the vent freshener, will that natural leather smell return?

I heard if you never use any type of freshener that natural leather smell will last for years and that fresheners ruin that smell

Anytime I'm in someone's car with an air freshener - I assume it's because they want to cover up something bad (smoking, pets, etc..). I think any artificial odor you put in there will seem ok at first, but when you get tired of it you will be haunted by it indefinitely. I wouldn't put anything in the car.

I use Pina Colada Wonder Wafers. They go under the seat but give off a great smell that lasts. Check them out.

The squash is a home run, a lot of people like it.

I'd vote no. Nothing beats the smell of a clean interior without added fragrances. Just IMO of course.

Air fresheners always remind me of friends' slammed civics back in high school.

Air freshener really depends on how new your car and "fresh" it is inside. I don't use air fresheners in newer cars, but I usually have one in my SC (almost 20 years old now). Carall Glare pure squash is the one I use and it's readily available at the local lexus dealer.

I’m trying these Charcoal natural odor removers. They are fragrance free. I hate the smell of artificial air fresheners in nice vehicles. I occasionally stop at fast food restaurants and the odor ruins the ambience of my car’s natural scent. Thus far they seem to work, but I’m still on the lookout for better products.

Unless one dislikes the drying sheets, leave a couple under the front seats. Works well during a warm day. Give it a try.
