Default Remove wax/sealant from plastic parts

I purchased Mckee's 37 wax remover for plastic and that did not work very well.

I finally found an easy way to remove wax/sealant from plastic. I was able to remove 6 month old sealant from the plastic trim on my 2016 RX350 with a Paper Mate White Pearl Latex-Free eraser. After using the eraser, I applied Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant.

To bad I don't have before and after pictures but it looks brand new.

The pencil eraser trick is a good one

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser type sponges also tend to work nicely on removing buildup from (non glossy) exterior trim.

Is it really working? If it's true, then this is really an amazing one! I would try it sometimes to see if it works

That parallelogram shaped pink pencil eraser works great for removing stains on pourus grey or black plastic trim. Used that with much success when detailing a 2013 Toyota Rav4, it had wax on the plastic fender/rocker trim where some damn amateur tried to wax their car and got it all over the plastic trim by mistake.
