Default Best interior protectant for cars sitting in sun?

my RX sits outside year in and year out, what's the best interior protectant I can apply which will keep it looking new and shield it from the sun? Thanks

I would like to know what others are using. My car too sits outside.

I heard 303 is pretty good. Personally, I've been using Meg's Interior Quik Detailer. It supposedly leaves UV protection and has a matte finish.

Best protection would be window tint (ceramic if you're willing to spend the extra) and a proper fitting sun shade for the front (I use covercraft).

For the dash and plastics I use 303 aerospace protectant. Leather seats I use leather master products to clean them.

Agreed... Window tint on the sides and a reflective sun shield in the windshield is the way to go if your car is outside all the time.

Apply a protectant like 303 Aerospace Protectant, Cockpit Premium, etc. when you're cleaning your interior for added protection.

303 is all I ever used for my dash and panels. Leather Master protectant cream for the seats.

I also use 303 on my hot tub cover, and kayak accessories... seems to slow UV damage pretty well

My car is black and I can personally vouch for the sun shade up front.. even while driving the dash will heat up significantly so the sun shade helps a lot when the vehicle is parked outside.. keep your sunroof shade closed as well

I just use armour all protective wipes for the dash lol

Meg's leather conditioning wipes for the seats

The best thing that has protected my interiors is window tint. I take it a step further and tint the entire windshield as well. It's illegal but it's very common on luxury and higher sports cars around here. If you go with a very light ceramic tint you shouldn't have any issues.

Aerospace 303 works great. I've used Chemical Guys Silk Shine for some of the plastic and rubber parts in the interior.

For those of you used 303,

Does it leave a glossy/wet finish on the dash? Or matte looking (I like matte).

I'd say 303 is somewhere in between... it isn't as glossy as a lot of the over-the-counter "armor all" type products, but it isn't as matte as something like Nextzett Cockpit Premium.

Maybe the surface being treated makes the difference but I have never had 303 produce a matte finish it is definitely glossy-ish. I wish they had a version that was.

Keep buffing with microfiber and the sheen will come down to a matte finish.
