I just wanted to get an idea of what you use to clean the rims on these vehicles. There are quite a bit of products on the market, so I just wanted to see what you all recommend. I just got in from the car wash and noticed some brake dust on certain areas of the rims that seemed to be harder than usual to remove.
Iron X is the best product to clean wheels safely. Once they are completely cleaned off from stubborn brake dust, proceed with weekly or biweekly washes and use normal car wash soap on the wheels.
Brake dust only gets bad once you start to neglect normal maintenance.

I have Iron X but haven't used it yet. Sonax is the best wheel cleaner I've used so far, but it's so damn expensive.
Anyone here used Chemical Guy's wheel cleaner products? If so, pros and cons please and thank you
I use a fair amount of Chemical Guys stuff, but I don't have any of their tire/wheel cleaning products. I like them, but I don't know or think they are superior to any of the other good quality detailing products. If you find a brand or individual product you like and gives you the results you want - go for it.

Yeah I was browsing through their website and was tempted to try their wheel cleaner out. I've always loved Sonax but they are just too pricey. But I guess it gets the job done.

For what its worth I use an all purpose cleaner, Optimum Powerclean, that you can dilute to different strengths for different purposes. That saves on buying a bunch of individual products like Chemical Guys and others would have you do.
My F creates some pretty serious brake dust... but I still don't need a dedicated wheel cleaner to make the wheels look like new again. Soap and water, or even just a rinseless wash is all I need. Routine maintenance is key.

I've used CG diablo wheel cleaner. It works, but their sprayers suck and the product doesn't stick to the rims as nicely as P21s Gel or sonax.
If you use that much sonax wheel cleaner, then start buying it in larger quantities and keep the small spray bottles to refill.
